liberty, the specialist technology PR and marketing consultancy, today announced the launch of its new service offering, liberty Consulting. Following the expansion of its services portfolio to include marketing and digital services in 2007, the agency has now formed a new venture to provide a holistic sales, PR and marketing solution to companies looking to establish themselves in the European market
The new company will be managed by Nigel Pollard, Director of liberty Consulting, who will work closely with Stephen Sharp and Dee Gibbs, the joint MDs of liberty. In his new role, Nigel will be promoting a full-service sales and marketing portfolio to enable smaller companies who wish to enter Europe the opportunity to do so in a cost-effective way. Acting as an outsourced business development resource, the liberty Consulting will look to provide everything from a regional point of presence without the high level of investment normally associated with a local footprint. The proposition will also be attractive for larger, established organisations who wish to outsource their business development or sales and marketing function as budgets continue to be challenged in the current economic climate.
Commenting on the new company, Nigel Pollard, Director of liberty Consulting said: Whilst assisting start-ups to enter the European market to compete against larger, entrenched competition, we identified that these complementary services were needed to localise, position and increase awareness of vendors brands to make their business a success.

Nigel has worldwide management experience in sales and marketing in the technology sector and has built a wealth of corporate company knowledge from multi-national firms such as Andrew and Harris Corporation. More recently, Nigel led an international sales team at Altos Advisors – a consultancy specialising in the support of early stage companies – helping to establish a European footprint. Nigel holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Communications Engineering and an MBA.
Were often asked to help clients with deeper industry relationships and a wider remit of services, commented Dee Gibbs, PR lead at liberty. The Consulting side of the business will now be able to develop new markets and establish a sales channel for a range of new and existing customers where it may have been prohibitive due to costs previously.
