Liberty Communications, the integrated digital marketing communications agency, today announced that it has been appointed to promote EdTech Europe, Europe’s leading e-learning focussed conference, for the second year.

Organised by education technology company, Edxus Group and IBIS Capital, a specialist media investment and advisory firm, EdTech Europe is an exclusive one day summit for senior business executives and investors with an interest in the e-Learning market. Addressing current industry and investment trends in e-Learning and exploring the business of education, it has been designed to act as a catalyst for the consolidation and investment required in the sector.

The event will also include the unveiling of the Europe EdTech 20, a ranking of the top 20 most innovative and fastest growing e-Learning companies in Europe.

Along with promoting EdTech Europe 2014 and the EdTech 20, Liberty Communications will also work on thought leadership and profile opportunities for both Edxus and IBIS Capital.

Benjamin Vedrenne-Cloquet, CEO and co-founder of Edxus Group, said: “Last year’s event was a huge success and we are hoping to build on that so that the 2014 event is on an even bigger scale. The education technology scene in Europe is picking up pace and we are hoping that EdTech Europe will play a pivotal role in shining the spotlight on the movers and shakers, as well as attracting the right funding and support for European edtech players.”

Dee Gibbs, Founder and Global CEO at Liberty said: “We are really excited to be working with Edxus Group and IBIS Capital again for EdTech Europe 2014. The ed tech industry is a fascinating one and we are ready to put our experience and passion, together with our media expertise, to bear to make the event an outstanding success for everyone involved.”
