Liberty Communications, the integrated digital communications consultancy, today announced that it has hired Michael Draznin as senior consultant to create and drive high-impact marketing and communications programs in the US and North America. He joins the team in response to client demand and the agency’s continuing rapid expansion in the region.
Draznin has over 20 years’ experience leading high-impact communications and marketing programmes within the technology space and deep expertise in financial, ad tech, and professional services sectors.
His background includes heading global corporate communications for three of the largest marketing services agencies in the world; leading the rebrand of the world’s largest strategic branding firm; and leading communications strategy for one of the largest global advertising agency mergers in history.
He has been involved in several IPOs, more than 15 M&A transactions, several divestitures, and numerous VC and PE fundings. In addition, he has done extensive work with technology, biotech, and usability companies in China, India and other BRIC regions.

As part of Liberty’s global push, Dee Gibbs has also assumed the role of CEO, Global to support the expansion and breadth of Liberty’s capabilities globally. Liberty is continuing to expand its East and West Coast operations. Draznin lives in Manhattan and will split his time between New York and San Francisco. He will be working alongside Dee and as part of the US leadership team.
