Liberty Communications, the integrated digital communications consultancy, today announced their appointment by leading video engagement platform Zentrick to support the company’s presence at the Cannes Lions event in June.

As part of Zentrick’s presence at Cannes Lions, the world’s biggest annual awards show and festival for professionals in the creative communications industry, Liberty Communications has been briefed to drive awareness of the company amongst brands, creative agencies, rights holders and media owners. They will also position the company and its executives as thought leaders in branding, content presentation and online monetization.

“Cannes Lions represents a big opportunity for Zentrick and we are delighted to be working with Liberty Communications to maximise our presence,” explained Pieter Mees, Zentrick CEO and Founder. “Not only are they Cannes veterans, but they fully understand our offering and market. Therefore, they are excellently placed to help us move forward.”

Working with the global organisations such as Unilever, Volkswagen, News Corp, and UNICEF, the Zentrick offering is a self-service, customisable platform that enables brands and media owners to transform their video content into a fully immersive and interactive online experience. Their software and tools provide measureable engagement with viewers by including actions embedded within video content. As a result, customers can  create their own unique brand experience by adding social rewards, real-time commerce, dynamic related content, inline gamification, timed surveys, mobile app downloads, localized store finders, social feeds and much more.

“We’re very excited to be working with Zentrick. Although only a few years old, their leadership team has already achieved great success in the marketplace. We’re looking forward to helping make the company a well-known name with brands and agencies and take them to the next level of growth.” said Dee Gibbs, Global CEO, Liberty Communications.
