The 2025 edition of IGELs’ Now & Next conference saw several hundred attendees gather at the Congress Center Frankfurt, Germany, for a packed agenda at an event growing in recognition as the epicentre of cybersecurity and End User Computing (EUC).
With deep-dive sessions tailored for key industries including Healthcare, Financial Services, Government, Retail, Transportation and Manufacturing, Now & Next 2025 offered insights on the latest cutting-edge solutions and innovations from thought leaders, industry experts, end users, and IGEL partners from around the world.
Klaus Oestermann, IGEL’s CEO, delivered the opening keynote, announcing record attendance and telling delegates to expect 18 new announcements, and the opportunity to attend 76 breakout sessions and hear from 92 speakers over the course of the event.
Key announcements to kick things off included headline findings from IGEL’s Unlocking Endpoint ROI study, which revealed that enterprises adopting a prevention-first approach to their endpoint strategy with IGEL’s Preventative Security Model are reducing IT costs by an average of 62%.
Other major updates included the launch of the IGEL Technology Professional Program, an evolution of the IGEL VIP Program for industry professionals, the introduction of IGEL AI Armor™, an upcoming security framework for AI-powered threat prevention at the endpoint, and the latest evolution with the IGEL Adaptive Secure Desktop™, which is designed to enable the most secure, flexible, and human-centered digital workspaces.
With guest speakers from partners and industry leaders including the likes of HP, Lenovo, LG, Microsoft and Palo Alto Networks, this year’s event showcased IGEL’s innovation and partnership focused approach to its ecosystem to define the future of work.
However, amidst all of the comprehensive product and solution updates to the company’s portfolio as IGEL laid out the course for its future roadmap, it should also not be overlooked that as part of a partnership with Plant-for-the-Planet, the company planted a tree for every single attendee at Now & Next 2025 in Frankfurt.
To close the event before looking ahead to IGEL Now & Next 2026 in Miami, there was a throwback live performance from SNAP! who performed a medley of their greatest hits, including, of course, ‘The Power’ and ‘Rhythm Is a Dancer.’ This was particularly nostalgic for yours truly, as it coincided with a birthday, which quite frankly made me feel, well 40.
