Liberty is no stranger to the work of thriving Estonian tech innovations and innovators – we’ve run a whole array of campaigns, from promoting ‘going green’ with Ampler’s featherweight e-bikes, to showing how AI models like Burokratt are redefining 21st century governance as we know it.

More recently we’ve had the pleasure of creating a storm around cyber security specialist CybExer’s name and brand – illuminating the company’s compelling voice and educating the press on cyber range technology. This couldn’t have come at a more pivotal time, as cyber-related crime continues to grow at an alarming and unprecedented rate, the damages from which are forecast to total $6tn by 2025.

With CybExer being a largely unknown quantity in the UK, and the cyber market having ballooned in size and weight over the last ten years, we aimed to cut through the noise and raise CybExer’s profile significantly. A key focus was to highlight the founding partners’ esteemed backgrounds as ex-NATO and ex-Estonian ministry members.

We first started working with CybExer in April 2021, implementing a tiered strategy for media relations and the initiation of thought-leadership campaigns. Building on this momentum, we have since leveraged CybExer’s fresh and critical insight on topics including ransomware, edtech and cyber security training, as well as corporate profiling opportunities for key spokespeople, allowing them to tell CybExer’s story and convey the brand’s mission in a 1:1 setting.

Integral to this process was Liberty’s trip to Estonia in October 2021, where we had the opportunity to attend the Cyber Battle of Estonia’s ‘grand finale’ in Tartu, which aims to engage young people by delivering fun, competitive, ‘capture-the-flag’ training exercises. This proved highly useful in getting to the heart of CybExer’s mission to make cyber security an industry filled with hope and promise.

More recently, we’ve been thrilled to help communicate CybExer’s €5m funding round to fuel global expansion and improve platform accessibility, while encouraging and advising on ways to ensure a cyber secure future.
